Lion is a beverage and food company who has crafted some of Australia and New Zealand’s most loved brands in beer, wine, dairy and juice. They asked Republic of Everyone to put together their sustainability strategy. The objective was to develop a comprehensive sustainability report based on GRI Standards. Republic of Everyone set up the framework and processes for the 2017 report and beyond. Lion now has systems in place to guide future reports. I was responsible for the concept development and production of the 2017 Sustainability Report.

Watercolour illustrations to emulate the colour, texture and transparency of beer, juices and wine flowing through the pages of the report while also being in keeping Lion’s gold colour palette.
Delicate line illustrations were used to complement the watercolour to show craft. It also helps the report appear friendly and approachable.
We also took typography references from Lion’s many brands choosing a script typeface as the hero. This was also in keeping with their new corporate guidelines.
